Noise Solutions had the honor of being interviewed by Joanna Richards, a reporter for Ideastream, a public radio in Cleveland, Ohio. Take a listen as Richards discusses how the noise of the oil and gas industry is affecting local communities and how Noise Solutions takes on the role of a referee.

Richards’ segment on the “Boom in Quiet” aired Friday, March 6 on the Marketplace. Here she is heard speaking to Frank Brothers, a local resident of Carroll County, in eastern Ohio; John Schniegenberg of Dominion East Ohio; and others who are directly affected by shale development.

During the interview, Tyler Mose, Business Development Lead for Noise Solutions, encourages Richards to step inside one of Noise Solutions’ noise-mitigating buildings and demonstrates its effectiveness.

“Mose crouches inside, looks out at me through the slats, and starts talking. Even though he’s only three or four feet away, I pick up only the faintest hints of his voice. Mostly, I watch his mouth move and hear nothing. It’s kind of amazing,” Richards said.

Special thanks to Tyler Mose, Business Development Lead, and CEO, Scott MacDonald, for sharing what Noise Solutions has to offer to the industry as well as the community.
