Sales Liaison

We are looking for a Sales Liaison to join our team.

Primary Job Purpose: To work with, and support, the Business Development team and to aid in developing profit driven proposals and quotations for the sale of acoustical noise suppression services and products.


Sales LiaisonKey Job Duties and Accountabilities

  • Primary technical support for Business Development Leads
  • Collect and analyze technical equipment and operating information from clients
  • Maintain data base of third party vendors
  • Maintain and manage internal project tracking CRM including:
    • Quotes being prepared
    • Active quotes (quotes delivered but not yet accepted or rejected)
    • Awarded jobs – co-ordinate tracking with Project Management
  • Answer client calls and inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Develop and maintain detailed client files (electronic and paper)
  • Develop, upgrade and maintain templates in support of the quotation process
  • Be a contributing factor in the development, technical training, and continuous improvement of relevant procedures to the Sales Team
  • Maintain and manage sales quoting schedule to ensure resources are being optimized
  • Be a liaison between the Sales department, Design and Project Management to improve processes, kick-off, and schedules of projects
  • Upon receipt of PO. Review and prepare internal kickoff documents and participate in kick-off meeting

Secondary Job Duties and Accountabilities

  • Develop, upgrade and review all supporting templates in the quotation process
  • Modify and develop design criteria as business needs arise
  • Maintain and edit equipment data sheets as required

Technical Skills Required

  • Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Acrobat and Outlook
  • Strong math and science skills
  • Strong technical background to ensure technical design criteria are met on each proposal

Non-Technical Skills Required

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Articulate and presentable – professional business attire at all times
  • Exceptional phone protocol
  • High level of self-discipline and integrity
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and skilled in time management
  • Extremely accurate attention to detail and ability to analyze work
  • Some flexibility in working hours may be required
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Positive and cooperative attitude
  • High level of energy
  • Light travel may be required

Education and Experience Required

  • High school diploma at a minimum
  • Additional education or training in math and sciences a benefit
